My name is Maria and I'm from Portugal. I am also the daydreamer who came up with this blog since I'm obsessed with colour, art and visual inspiration, and I'm passionate about internet and blogging. I have this strong liking for chatting and picnics. My field of studies and work is translation, writing, text and content edition.

The blog started out back in 2010 as a little space where I shared my insights on my experience abroad while I was travelling and working as cabin crew in the Middle East. By that time it had a different name and it was in Portuguese. It had the title "O Mundo é um Livro" (i.e. "The World is a Book"). I felt it needed a change, and slowly it was converted into a space where I could share not only my thoughts or stories, but also a lot of other cool things I'm interested in and that includes art, design, photography, music, travel and everything else that inspires me. 

Originally, a mood board is a type of poster design that may consist of images, text, and samples of objects in a composition of the choice of the mood board creator. Designers and others usually use them to develop their design concepts and to communicate it to other members of the design team. 

So I decided to adapt this idea to my blog that seems to me quite comprehensive and at the same time use the notion of "mood", as the temporary state of mind or feelings that I hope can be perceived through the posts, whether they might be in English, Portuguese or even Spanish.
